Arrangers - Selecting Your DMC Partner

The selection of a good DMC partner to help you design and manage your special event, transportation, teambuilding or tour program can be one of the most critical decisions you make. You put the success of your program and sometimes even your career in our hands. We do not take that lightly and our goal is to make you look GREAT!

When researching and interviewing DMCs be sure to inquire about the following:

  • Get the numbers: years in business, employees, insurance coverage, etc.
  • Referrals and Recommendations from hoteliers, the local CVB and other meeting planners
  • Industry Involvement, not just memberships, in associations such as ADME, PCMA, MPI, ISES and HSMAI.
  • Industry Certifications that show their support and dedication to the profession.
  • References from Clients for whom they have provided similar service needs.
  • References from Suppliers to confirm the DMC’s organization and ease to work with.
