Nicole
Marsh, CMP, DMCP has been elected to serve on the 2005-2006
Board of Directors for the Association of Destination Management
Executives (ADME). The association is the only global non-profit
organization dedicated to increasing the professionalism
and effectiveness of destination management through member
and industry education, the establishment of standard ethical
practices and raising the level of awareness of the value
of destination management to the respective associations,
corporations and the general public. During her term, Nicole
will serve as the Director of Education. She states, “We
have several exciting new programs planned for 2005 and
I am honored to be charged with the challenge of advancing
the knowledge for both our members and the industry as
a whole.”
Nicole
also recently accepted a 2-year term (2005-2007) as the
Chair Elect for the Destination Management Certified Professional
(DMCP) Board. The certification was developed in 2001 in
order to create impetus for organizational self-improvement
and to stimulate a general raising of standards for our
industry. Prior to accepting her term as chair elect she
served two terms as a Director. “It has been an honor
to be part of the infancy of this prestigious designation
and I look forward to being an integral part of its growth
in the upcoming years” says Marsh.
Nicole
Marsh, CMP, DMCP, is the President of THE ARRANGERS DMC,
a 36-year old Colorado Destination Management and Event
Planning Company offering award winning events, custom
tour programs, group transfers, shuttle system and more
throughout Colorado. In addition to her involvement in
ADME and the DMCP, she serves as the Immediate Past President
for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Professional Convention
Management Association (PCMA). She is one of only twelve
individuals who have attained both their CMP and DMCP certifications.
